Giving Back

Josefino Children's Shelter in Oaxaca, Mexico 

Since 2019 we have focused our philanthropy to support the Josefino Children's Shelter in different ways. In that time we have generously donated funds each year for new books, clothes, school uniforms, first communion supplies and outfits, toys, and gifts for el Dia Del Niño (Children's Day). During Covid-19 in 2020, 80% of our sales from face masks were donated to support the children. We also were able to send funds for the orphanage to provide Christmas gifts for all during their winter season. 

Local Area Schools  

From the time Margarita Mercantile was created we have supported local Houston area schools through donating clothing for fundraising efforts and shopping events. With over 8 schools and counting, we aim for this number to continue to grow in future years.
