Why We Do What We Do
Skilled artisans once made the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and the furniture in our homes - our belongings were imbued with value and made to last. At Margarita Mercantile, we keep that tradition alive by bringing handcrafted value to our customers.
Our Name
The name of Margarita Mercantile was created to add a personal connection with the brand. Margarita is Celina's middle name and her aunt's whom she remembers for her unique smile and joyful personality. Celina's daughter also shares the same middle name and big dreams of her own.
From Celina
When I was a child growing up in Mexico I enjoyed living life with my six brothers and sisters, businessman father and caring mother. Now, as a grown adult living in America, I find I am nostalgic for the sights, sounds, and smells of Mexico. I fondly recall the vivid colors of flowers while walking through the park. The sounds of mariachi music playing in the streets during Mexico's Independence Day and the women dancing in their intricately designed and vibrant costumes. I launched Margarita Mercantile to realize my childhood dreams of following the business footsteps of my father and to share my memory of Mexico with you.
